Heavy bleeding for last 30 year during period...could it be mercury poisoning?

For the last 30 years, I have had very heavy periods...using up to 24 pads or tampons or both in a day. I have always been very anemic, even to the point alarming my doctor. He suggested surgery to remove my womb. I have had 12 pregnancies with only 6 live births.
I started getting metal fillings at age 6 and have 15-20 of them. Could all of this be from mercury poisoning?
