HI!
I know exactly how you feel i had an anal fissure at the end of last year, my doctor first prescribed me a two week course of antibiotics, it only got worse so then i went to see a specialist and he said i needed a small operation under general anaesthetic so i had that done and he just loosened it a little in that area (not enough for you to notice yourself) but enough to let it heel. and after that i have had no more trouble! i would recomend you go to your local chemist and get some "Lachelose" dont know quite how to spell it but basically it softens your stools and this will help no end!!
let me know if this helps! |

| I suffered fissures for over 6 years, i tried all sorts of creams, ointmensts, diet changes, and finally just 2 weeks ago i have the surgery.. i am now pain free and although still a bit restricted on foods, i am very happy i got it done. I wish i had it done sooner. |

|
|
I am a 25 year old female and wanted to let everyone know that they are not alone. I have had my fissure for 1 and half years now and was worried that it was a long time until finding out people have had them for 5 years. I was told by my doctor to take Lactalouse, which does seem to make things better for me. However after stopping taking this then I seem to be back to normal (meaning it comes back) Does anyone know if it is safe to take Lactalouse for long periods of time, as im starting to get worried about my self, thinking alsorts like about cancer. I know it's silly but I just cart help it.
Thanks for reading, no one else seems to understand my embarrising problem. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. |
