I have had breathing difficulties for weeks, have done my blood work and was in remission now for 10 months. My physician has tried antibiotics and multiple inhalers, nothing really working. I do have asthma, but attacks are very infrequent and never had any when my anemia was active. I don’t know if I should call hematologist? Maybe I have some blood disorder. I need some help.

I'm glad to hear you've been in remission for 10 months. I keep reading anything written about their experience of hemolytic anemia or other blood disorders. It seems that there are different symptoms; someone said they get flu like symptoms. I don't believe I get that even though few times I did have some weird experiences, but mainly I hear a pulse in my ear and get tired. Is your hematologist keeping constant check on your blood count? I would ask it to be checked to see if your breathing difficulties could have any relation to the anemia. My veins are so bruised, but my doctor has me monitor my blood weekly.
