Help! Brown, heavy, stringy period.

Okay. I'm 15 years old and I just started my birth control last month for the first time. My period is right on schedule but is dark brown with little blood and sticky and thick. Could it be my body's reaction to the birth control? I'm on Loestrin 24 Fe.

Someone please help I'm really nervous.
I have no idea what to do.
