I have a constant aching back and I don't know why. I'm only thirteen too. I have one strange virtibrate that is larger than the rest. It very noticeably sticks out. I'm going to start trying an excercise ball. Any other suggestions?

It is certain that you should see a doctor if you haven’t already to see what’s causing the pain.
You didn’t mention which of the vertebra is sticking out but you should know that lumbar (lower back) vertebra are larger than the cervical or thoracic (upper back) generally because this spinal area carries most of the body's weight.

Considering you have pain, it could be that one of the vertebras got displaced or is pressing some of the nerves causing you pain. These are the most common sources of pain, as well as vertebra rubbing against each other when the disks that exist between them and serve as cushions break and cannot support anymore.

It is important to be looked by a specialized doctor who can determine what the problem may be and show you the right exercise. I hope you get better soon.

You must see an orthopedic doctor. Do not delay.
