Hi,
I am 26 years old and 13 months ago (right after my baby was born) I had my tubes tied, cut & burned. My partner & I are VERY SEXUALLY ACTIVE, and being that im "fixed" I dont care if he ejaculates inside of me. Anyway, lately I have been having alot of cramps (to the lower right side of my uterus) I have also had fatigue, dizzyness, and feeling sick to my stomach off and on, and I actually FEEL pregnant. I am scared because maybe this could be an ectopic or tubal pregnancy? I need help or advice because all of this is freaking me out.

| Tubal ligation is not 100%. You could have a perfectly normal pregnancy or an ectopic pregnancy, but the first thing you gotta do is take a test to find out. |

CariFairy,
Do you know what the percentage is of conceiving, even after having the tubes tied cut & burned? If I am pregnant, it was an accident, and of course unplanned.

I am going to give you an honest perception, okay?
I work in an office which terminates pregnancies and deals with birth control, and we have women coming in with their medical bills showing their tubal ligation, because they are so shocked. They don't want us to think any less of them, but of course we don't!
YES, even cut and burned is not 100%. A tubal ligation is 99.2% effective. So you have a very very small chnace at being pregnant, but it could be. |
