Help, Virgin In Peril! Is there something wrong?

Ok, so im a virgin....sort of.... My boyfriend and I recently decided to have sex (him not a virgin). The first time we tried it, it hurt....alot, he ended up stopping because it hurt so much. I bled for about a day, and so assumed that it was partially broken and that when we tried again, it wouldnt hurt so badly. I told him to just break right through instead of going slowly because that obviously didnt work, but it ended up hurting even more. I cried, and he stopped again (isnt he a doll?) So...to the point. It still hasn't been broken (didnt bleed that much the second time), he hasnt even been fully in me. I was wondering if there is something wrong? Is there anything I can do to make it hurt less? I am at my wits end here...dont know what to do, and I hate to stop him, I dont want to do that to him again.

oh and before you ask

1) I was propery lubricated both times, we used KY and I was, well i guess the best word, although somewhat vulgur would be "wet"

2) It was totally my decision, I am been emotionaly ready and physically, everything else seams fine...he hasnt put any pressure on me what so ever...like I said, a doll! Laughing

3) I didnt go in with ideas in my head. Some friends said it hurt, some said it didnt, and some said just at first. I had a diffrent answer for each person so I knew better then anticipating no pain.

4) Ive got a pretty high threshold for pain....and so the fact that I was in tears shows how much it truly hurts.

So now that you've read my long post, please respond. Oh and feel free to ask any questions/details.

i've experienced the same thing... sort of lol with tampons/

I am 19 years old and i am not a virgin. When i was 14 i got my period for the first time... on a cruise... and the only thing my mom had were tampons. I tried numerous times to get them in and i just couldn't do it... it hurt WAYYY too much. being traumatized sorta i stopped using them up until a couple of years ago. I got used to using them by using the light ones and eventually up to the heavy loads. I guess it helped me open up and when my boyfriend and i had sex for the first time i didnt feel any pain or bleeding ( it was really spontaneous and we were fooling around for about half an hour before we did it). I realize penises are alot larger than tampons...So perhaps you can approach ur boyfriend, or do it by yourself if he is uncomfortable, and try using a dildo first... im pretty sure that they come in thinner sizes so that you can adjust gradually. But if it still really hurts you, there's no rush... i think when it happens, it happens theres no need to make it such a fancy occassion... as long as you love each other and the feeling is right Smile
