|

So, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about a month ago. He has never had any visible signs of genital warts, and to his knowledge doesn't have an STD. Today, I found a few small pink/red dots around the inside flaps of my genitals...sorry I don't know what they are called. I don't see any very close to my vagina or anything. I picked on them, and normally after one scratch they will start bleeding. I don't know what they are, and I'm scared. Some other information is that my genitals have been itching some today, but that is kind of normal for me because I just trimed my hair a few days ago. So, most of that I would assume is what I normally experience. Could I have genital warts? What else could cause these bumps? They don't look like ingrown hairs or anything to me.

One other thing. I first noticed these when I got out of a hot shower. When I looked again, everything looked smaller and not as red...almost like other bumps that I have had for years. Also, I still have to pull my skin to see these better. Maybe just wishful thinking, but I figured that giving lots of description would maybe help me know if I have them or not. I know though, the only way to be sure is to do to the doctor.

New development....some of the little red bumps have gone away, and other ones look smaller than what they did. I would take that as good. Is it possible that it was just a rash or irritation....or stress?

This is likely genital warts- As if you do your research you'll find out they sometimes clear up on their own. See your doctor if you're in pain or worried, or the kind of person who wants to know FOR SURE what's going on and if it needs treated!
