Hello. I am interested in knowing what over-the-counter medication I can use for heavy and painful periods. I have used ibuprofen my entire life, but am trying to conceive now and understand that is not a good drug to be using while trying to become pregnant.

What else could you recommend. I spoke to one doctor who said that Naproxin may have less side affects than ibuprofen, but I'm not sure if I want to go that route or not.
