Hello! I am 34 and I need someone to help me choose oral contraceptives. The thing is that I am sort of afraid of starting taking some oral contraceptives and on the other hand I need them for I don't want to have risk of staying pregnant again. I have 4 years old son end ever since my pregnancy I have this vein problems , my latest color Doppler of my veins was when I was 6 months pregnant and it showed serious veins insufficiency and I was prescribed one aspirin pill each day which I stopped taking after pregnancy. Anyway the thing is that I have heard or red somewhere that woman with such veins problem are not supposed to take no oral contraceptives but I still hope there is an opt for me so could someone help me choose oral contraceptives.

Well, I think that this question is for some real specialist, I could recommend you bunch of oral contraceptives for I am taking them for years now and am very satisfied but I don't have those veins problems like you so I don't think it would be wise you choose some oral contraceptives on your own I think you should have another veins color Doppler just to determine what are the risks of taking oral contraceptives in your condition for I know if you are about to have deep thrombosis than your condition could even worsen by taking certain type of oral contraceptives. So I advice you go see a doc and get the proper advice for I suppose there are some oral contraceptives that consists the proper hormones combination that would fit your condition.
