Help me my periods have stopped!!!!

I am a 36 year old woman, who has always had normal periods every 28 days up until about 9 months ago. They started becoming irregular, sometimes as long as 34 days in between. I went to my gynecologist and my pap smear came back fine. Now I haven't had a period since OCTOBER!!! NO CHANCE of a pregnancy, what else could be wrong?????? HELP!
