| I have a white lump that looks like sebum, like it would in a pimple on my scrotum. The chacteristics are like a small bead, grain of sand, pebble, or bb as some described. I tried squeezing it and finally broke the skin(this lump was under the skin) and little blood came out. Today the day after its a little red, and sore and a little scap(size of a pinprick)where the blood came out. I have only made one attempt to squeeze this cyst thing, and none of the white stuff it seemed to have came out. This isnt genital warts is it?Or is this a cyst? I told my girlfriend it was a sweat gland because i have had it for a long time like yearish or so |

Yes, you were right to tell your girlfriend it was a gland. However, it is an oil gland.
The cyst even has a name. It is called sebaceous cyst. The white stuff is sebum collection under the skin. The sebum is produced by oil glands. The reason why you couldn’t squeeze anything is because there is a very thick membrane on top of it.
This membrane could be removed at the doctor’s. If you have just one and it is way too annoying, you could ask a doc if he/she would remove it for you. They may say no though because the cyst is harmless. You may even develop some more but not just on your scrotum but your penis as well. |

| Thank you so much, i dunno if you will ever read this but thanks again. OMG i was freaking out about it. Now that i know its a cyst and not genital warts i feel so much better. I believe i have irritated it by squeezing it last night, will everything be ok with it? And are there any home remedies that can rid of these cyst, there not too attractive. Thanks again, and thanks to anyone who replies, i swear i didnt know what i was going to do with myself if it was HPV. |
