Are you saying that the pain is on the left side of the abdomen or the flank left side? Because there’s a difference!
If you are having problems with flank pain (on the side), that usually indicates a kidney problem like an infection or kidney stones. If kidney stones are causing troubles, they usually cause pain on the side, lower back pain, and often radiate to the groins.
Flank pain could be also muscle spasm, or spinal disk disease.
Pain on the left side of the abdomen could be different things and depending on some other additional symptoms, or the way the pain manifests your doctor may suspect what this could be and order additional tests.
It could be due to chron’s disease, ectpic pregnancy, diverticulitis…all depending on your age, medical history, additional symptoms, etc |
