Hi there, I am a woman who is 24 years old. I would like to know what hemangioma is. For every information you give me, I will be grateful. I only know that this is benign skin lesion. Everything else is unknown to me. Thank you in advance for your responses. Sorry to waste your valuable time.

Hello there, you are right. It is indeed described as benign skin lesion which is consisted of masses of dilated blood vessels. Even though they are benign lesions, some serious complications may happen. Most of them disappear without treatment and in most cases people don't have any complications. Females have a bigger chance of having them. I know that in some cases they are treated with corticosteroids.
