Hematoma at groin site

Hello. I am a guy who is 32 years old and I had an angioplasty week ago. I have developed a hematoma at a groin site. My doc said that it should be gone after a while, but after a week, it is still there. Is this thing normal? How much will I have to wait for this hematoma to go away?

It is quite common for hematoma to develop even if the procedure has been done by the book. It should clear up after next few days. It took me two weeks for hematoma to clear up. But maybe if you are not certain that everything is ok, you should ask your cardiologist about it. Hope I helped.
