I’m 40 year old man.
Lately, I’ve noticed I have blood in my stool. Blood was very red and it seamed fresh.
I’ve been asking around to find out what could cause this kind of symptoms. One friend told me I could be suffering from hemmoroids in spike of fact that I don’t have usual hemmoroids symptoms like anal irritation and pain.
Is it possible that I have hemmoroids without these symptoms?
Could anybody tell me more what can give such bleeding on rectum?
Thanks
I understand why you doubt in your friend’s opinion.
Hemmoroids usually give symptoms you mentioned like anal irritation, itchiness and pain in rectum region.
But not always!
Hemmoroids that give such symptoms are usual called external but there is one more type of hemmoroids called internal.
These kinds of hemmoroids do not cause irritation and pain but they do cause massive bleeding on rectum and they are much serious medical condition than external.
They can not be treated with conservative therapy such as crèmes and hot baths.
Only cure is surgery!
That kind of surgery become routine these days and you should not
worry at all because you’ll be home the next day.
