Had a Hemorrhoidectomy on Dec 17. Today is Dec 23 and I'm feeling better each day as far as pain goes. Going to the bathroom is still a little painful at times. Sitz bath helps tremendously. A+D ointment helps with rash which everyone seems to get. Took Lortab for the first 2 days then was able to go to straight Tylenol by God's mercy and a lot of prayer. The only problem I'm having now is when I have a BM I just go a little even though I still have to go. I don't want to sit on the toilet for a long time or strain a lot. I'm taking the laxatives and eating a high fiber diet with lots of water. Any suggestions? Increase laxatives and stool softener? Thanks for any replies. Hope everyone a speedy recovery.
