Hi, I have herpes on the mouth, an every time I am under stress, I have new herpes sore. Is there any way to prevent it?

Hi, developing herpes sores is very frequent. If you are infected by herpes simplex type 1 (HSV-1) it will appear every time your immunity gets down. I usually have sores on the lips, inside the mouth or on the face. Children easily get herpes, so avoid touching and kissing them while you have a sore. Cold sores or lesions in and around the mouth or lips are the most common symptom of herpes. I usually use aciklovir cream, but it is not effective any more. The sore dries up quite fast and diminishes after a while. But, it is so ugly to see a herpes sore on face.
