Herpes or ingrown hair or impetigo?!?

My boyfriend had impetigo on his face and arm, it was then transfered to myself. I had it on my face and i took anti-biotics and it went away. Im not sure how much later it was, but I then got bumps on the crease of my inner thigh and one below my waste line where my pubic hair grows. All the bumps were where my pubic hair grows. They hurt when i walked. When i stopped shaving, they went away. My boyfriend has no symptoms of herpes. I have noo idea what it was. It looked like i had impetigo down there, but was it? Help!
