Herpes or ingrown vagina hairs

I was reciently sexually active two weeks ago. The next week I got these little pimple like bumps. They are tender and caused a little swelling. There are mutipule bumps. I got nervous and started researching genital herpes. The day I noticed the bumps I got a fever. Also there is a burning sensation when I urinate. Those are three signs of genital herpes. The thing is my partner and I were both virgins before anything happend. I think the bumps came from shaving. Could I get some help or advise of what it could be?

it might not be herpes but it could be genital warts which warts are a bacteria not a virus and they are easy to catch without being sexually active before, or if it is herpes it can be transmitted from mother to child at birth so either of you might have already had herpes just it was irritated before so you never got a break out, remember that the herpes virus is found in like 3/4 americans so it is really pretty common, just depends on where you get it
