Herpes sore on base of tailbone

I have a small pimple that has occured maybe 3 times this year. It itches very bad and then turns into a small sore. I have had it in the past but thought it was from sweating because I spend alot of time in the gym. I had my doctor do a herpes blood test which came back postitive. My doctor perscribed Zovirax, but she did not do a cultural. For the last year I have also have had frequent urination at night (almost ever 1.5 hours) and problems with changes in my bowel movements. I also have some night sweats. Along with this it constantly feels like something is sitting inside my skin where my tailbone is. Sometimes it feel like something is crawling in around tailbone area. I am a 48 year old female and my doctor seems to believe I am in the begining stages of menopause and is not taking me seriously. Any advice you can give would be helpful. This is taking an emotional toll on me. Thank you in advance.
