Herpes transmission in oral sex

I was infected by a female performing oral sex on me and after quite some time, I have some herpes symptoms I ignored, assuming it was an in-grown hair or something ridicules. I didn’t know that herpes transmission was possible in oral sex. I was young. Anyone who would like to share same experience?

I too had unprotected sex in my younger days twice and took me years to muster up the courage. After that every bump, itch etc... I swore it was herpes. Oral herpes isn’t easily passed to the sexual organs anyways; you have a great chance its all in your head. I had tested positive for HSV-1 and the blemishes I was worried about turned out to be STD.
