I am in menapause and had some bleeding after three years with no period. My gynecologist was going to do a D&C after he could not do an endometrial biopsy. When I went for a pregnancy test before surgery, it came back that I could possibly be pregnant. This is not possible since I have not had sex for at least two years. They said that the count was 9 and that the anestegiologist was concerned and surgery was cancelled. I need to go back for another test, but I can't be pregnant. What else could be wrong and how can they find out why my count is high and showing possible pregnancy.
