What is there to know about the dangers that high cholesterol might cause? My sister has it and it does not seem like she cares too much. And the problem is also in the fact that gall bladder stones has been found in her abdomen couple of weeks ago (small ones, not for surgery).

Well, I assume that the high cholesterol in the first place was a sign that point the doctors in the direction of the gall bladder. I think that one of the ways to deal with those gall bladder stones is to decrease the level of cholesterol with additional medication therapy. So, at one point she will have to start taking better care of herself.
