i was 13 when i got pregnant but i had 2 let them know when i was 3 months pregnant and my mom took me 2 a clinic and i had an abortion.me and my bf broke up 5 months later and now i am 15 and have matured a lot and see lofe in a new way.i have a bf who knows everything i have lived and he is very supportive and loves me the way i am.i know it is wrong but he is 19 yrs. old but i don't care i know he is the 1 i have known him for about 4 yrs. and he has always stood by my side as a friend until recently he told me he loved me since about 7 months ago and now we are happily together for 3 months going on 4.my life has changed i know if i would've had the baby i would be having to find a way to make money and single and no one by my side to supprt me because i would've been out of here only cause my mom was so mad but instead made me get rid of the baby.so it is your chice but know that either way life goes on you will never forget which ever choice you make because both will change your life but if you have it just know your freedon is over and you will have to clean your life up for the good and be a responsible mother at such a young age.good luck on what ever you do and please let me know what happened!

You can get the medical abortion (RU486) up to around the 7th week of pregnancy. This causes a miscarriage.
Surgical abortions are routinely given until 12 weeks, but many places will do them up to 24 weeks and beyond depending on the situation.

you know, God gives you what you can handle, i have no right to tell you not to get an abortion but its not fair to this baby who will eventually be a person that you know you created you cant kill it once you hear its heart beat and see it for the first time on the moniter its the most amazing thing ever, most parents wont kick their daughter out for this mistake, mine didnt, they would have been 80,000 times more mad if i told them i got an abortion than if im pregnant, give this baby a chance at life, try adoption but once you go through your pregnancy and have it your not going to want to give it up but whatever those are my opinions, good luck, i hope your decision makes you happy

I am disappointed in teens getting pregnant-why are you all having sex at this young age? And where is adult supervision? I am 40 years old-married for 4 years and have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years. I have done 7 IUI's and 8 IVF's-the last one just done last week so am waiting for results on Friday. I finally got pregnant for the first time in March on IVF-had a miscarriage on May 8, 2006 at 11 weeks(baby measured 9 weeks)-D & C performed on May 9. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to face. And I hear about all these young kids just going out and getting pregnant left and right. Irritates me to no end!! And abortions are not right -you chose to flirt with pregnancy!! Either have the baby or give it up for adoption so someone who has been trying to have a family can have one.

Hi. I am 22 years old and have a wonderful, beautiful, and intelligent litlle boy that is three years old. He is the joy of my life! There are days that he is the only thing that keeps me going. His little smile and the way he tells me "you are the bestest mommy i ever seened" make my life worthwhile. I was only 18 when I got pregnant. I know that is a big difference from 14, but I had no money, no job and yes no college when I got pregnant. No I didn't have health insurance, but that is the benifit of medicaid. You can go to the medicaid office and they will give you insurance that will cover all of your doctor visits and everything. The only thing it didn't cover for me was the circumcision of my son. That was only 400$ verses the 375$ it takes to have an abortion.

I know that you are scared right now. I felt the same way when I found out I was pregnant with my son, but you will soon realize it is okay. You are not the first girl to become pregnant at such a young age and I'm sure that you will not be the last. Yes, it will be hard. You can do it though. Talk with your parents. They may be upset, but they will respect you for having the courage to come and talk to them. If you were my daughter I would want to know. They love you and I know that they want to be there for you. They can't be there if you don't ask them to or let them know what is going on.

I know that abortion seems like the easy way out, but you have to consider everything that comes along with abortion. You may need serious counseling after and we all know how expensive that can be. And if you are concerened about letting your parents down take into consideration how let down they would be to find out that you can not take responsibility for your own actions. Think about what if your mother had aborted her pregnancy with you.

You have been playing a dangerous game and you are lucky that you only got pregnant. You could have ended up with a terminal disease that would eventually kill you. I know you are young and you are thinking you are just having fun, but life is not that way. You stepped into the grown up world by your own choice and now you have to grow up and take responsibility for your actions. You are no longer a baby, you are a woman and need to start acting that way. Stay in school or get your ged and take care of your child or put it up for adoption. Just take responsibility don't run from the problem and do something you are going to regret later. What if you are unable to have children later on in life? Would you really want to kill this one. That is what it is murder. Look in your library for a book about abortion, one with pictures. how can anyone do that to their own child??

I know I can't tell you what to do but you need to talk to your parents and let them know what is going on. Maybe talk to your mom first, then she can help you talk to your dad. or whichever way you think would be easier. where is the father???? what does he have to say about all of this? Good luck honey!
