| Hello, guys. I have recently been ill from pneumonia. I healed it and I didn't have any symptoms, but several days ago I started with some respiratory difficulties. I am wondering whether I have pleurisy. How can I know that for sure? I would really appreciate your advices and suggestions. Bye! |

| Hi, there. The usual symptom is chest pain. It is a sharp pain. It gets worse after a deep breath or a cough. If you take shallow breaths, the pain goes away. There is a cough, usually dry. Shortness of breath and fever are also possible. I suggest you to go to the doctor. He will run some blood test and probably do some X-ray. In that way you can be sure you have pleurisy. Please, let me know the outcome of that visit. |
