How can conductive hearing loss be prevented?

Hello! My mother had conductive hearing loss. I know that this hearing loss is one of the easiest hearing losses. I want to ask you following: can conductive hearing loss be prevented? If it can be prevented, what I need to do to prevent it. This is very important to me and I hope you will know answer on this.

Hello! Sometimes conductive hearing loss can be caused because wax build-up, so, clean your ears often (once per week). If you have some infection pay attention on your hearing, because infection can cause conductive hearing loss, too. So, if you notice that you cannot hear well as you could before, contact your doctor.
