Hello, guys. My friends’ kid got rubella. She has rash all over her body and temperature. I would like to know how rubella can be treated. I would really appreciate if anyone could share this piece of information with me. Thank you in advance for all your replies. Bye-bye, folks!

Hi, there. Rubella is caused by rubivirus and we still don’t have medications that could really cure viruses. There is no treatment option that could shorten the period of this disease. However, mostly this disease has a mild clinical signs and symptoms, so it isn’t something to worry about. Isolation is recommended, especially from pregnant women. Rest in bed is also very important. Kids have even easier symptoms. You’ll see. Your friends’ kid will soon recover. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
