Hi, folks. My cousin has been eating a lot of carrots and other food that contained vitamin A. He was also on multivitamin supplements. He got hypervitaminosis and I would like to know how you can get rid of it. I would really appreciate this piece of info. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I think there is no specific antidote for hypervitaminosis A. The main thing is to stop using this vitamin in any form. In any case, your cousin should consult with a doctor. If your cousin has any symptoms, then he might get therapy for his symptoms. You haven’t mentioned his symptoms. These symptoms could include: vision problems, pseudotumor cerebri, bone pain, skin problems, nausea and vomiting, etc. I hope your cousin will feel better. Please, let me know the outcome. Bye!
