| Hello, I would like some answers, please. I have been trying to lead a healthy life so far and I am good at it. I even use some herbal teas and remedies when I am ill. Anyway, I am also using birth control pills and there is the problem. How come that St. John’s interferes with birth control? Is that really true? |

| Unfortunately, it is. I am not sure about the exact mechanism, but I know that taking St. John’s Wort might decrease the effectiveness of birth control therapy. So, I guess you can quit on St. John’s Worth, or maybe not, but in that case, you should thing of some other contraceptive method, condoms perhaps. |
