Hello! My grandmother was diagnosed adrenal cancer. Her doctor thought it was a benign cyst at first but further analysis showed it was cancer. He recommended surgery and told us that this type of cancer can be quite aggressive. I have never heard of adrenal cancer. How common is it?
Hello! Adrenal cancer is rare. It affects only one or two persons in one million of people. It usually occurs in adults. When discovered early it is potentially curable but the problem is these tumors are usually found years after they began growing. By the time they are discovered they usually already invaded the nearby organs or spread to distant organs.
