I am about to write an article for high school newspaper. It is about Grave's disease. I have found almost every important thing about this disease. The only thing that I was not able to find out is how common is Grave's disease. If you have any information that may help me, please write.

You, probably, already read that Grave's disease is one from group of diseases called thyrotoxicosis. Grave's disease accounts for 60 to 80 % of thyrotoxicosis, though the number of ill people, varies among population, depending mainly on iodine intake (high iodine intake is associated with increased prevalence of Grave's disease). Grave's disease occurs in up to 2% of women but one-tenth as frequent in man. I hope this information will help you enough.
