How did you get used to life changes following your disease?

Hello, guys. My mother survived a severe stroke. She is recovering, but she will have to make some life changes after this. I wonder how she will get used to this. I would like to hear how you got used to your lifestyle changes following your disease. I will appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello. I survived stroke several years ago. I had to organize my life from the beginning. And it wasn't easy for me. I had to quit my job. I had been a truck driver before. I had to change my eating habits. I couldn't smoke or drink alcohol any more. I needed help from others in the beginning. It is a terrifying thing when you depend on others. Bye!
