How do I put on lipstick properly without crossing the lip borders?

Hi. I am a 13 years old girl, and I am trying to get ready for a party. I don't usually dress up for parties that much, but when I do, my mom helps me. My mom is at a business trip, so I can't get her to help. I know it sound silly, but I cant put the lipstick properly without crossing the borders. I hate this thing! Is there a specific way how you do this?

It all comes with practice. You should practice more, and than you will have no problem with crossing the lip borders. It took me a lot of time to get the hang of it. Start with lighter lipsticks, since they are much less visible if you make a mistake. And start doing your own make up, so you would learn. Oh, and ask your mother to teach you.
