Hi, I have been advised to use Aldara for genital warts, and I applied a very small amount on 5 consecutive days per week and then rest for 2. After about a month, I could notice some improvement. I stopped for a week and then continued until healing was complete. Soon after this, I had a bad cold and then the flu, with muscle aches, bronchitis, weakness. It seems like Aldara interferes with my immune system and leads to decrease in immune response. Later, I realized that it’s a side effect of Aldara. When, I stopped using it infection returned and start to spread, so I used it more and after a while, it was healed.
