Hi, folks. I have injured my foot ankle in a soccer game yesterday. I went to a doctor, but he said it was only a distortion and that no casket would be necessary. He told me to put some cold compresses on that area. I would like to ask how A cold compress is prepared. Thanks for replying.

Hello. Cold compresses are good for reducing a swelling. Prepare a bowl with ice water or put some ice in it. Put few drops of essential oil in it. Clean the area where you will apply compress. You can also out ice into the flannel and put it directly onto the injured spot. This will also reduce inflammation. If you cannot manage, ask your doctor about the details. I hope you will get better. Good luck!
