Hello. My mother is a fan of naturopathic medicine. She would like to start with hydrotherapy. She has some spine problems and she wants to sort it out. I would like to know how this therapy is performed. I would really appreciate if someone could reply to my post. Thanks in advance.

Hello. Hydrotherapy uses water as its name says. This water can be hot or cold. It can have cooling or sweating effect. It can be used generally or locally. Beside water, hot air and steam baths can also be used. There are sitz, spinal and head baths. There are also bandages and similar stuff. This therapy is mostly used for spinal problems and other musculoskeletal disorders. I hope your mother will feel some benefits from this therapy. Good luck!
