How is Left heart ventricular angiography peformed?

Hello, I am 60 years old and I have been having some heart issues lately. We are talking about angina pectoris – I have been taking medications for some time, but doctors recommend that angiography has to be done. How is left heart ventricular angiography performed, I really don’t know one thing about what they’ll do to me.

Angiography is invasive diagnostic procedure. It is used in order to determine the percentage of obstruction of coronary arteries. Those arteries are vital for feeding the heart muscle. So, it is a very important thing for you to undergo this procedure. As for the procedure itself, catheter will be put into femoral artery and from there it will go to the heart and pictures of the situation will be taken.
