My Brother in-law has been diagnosed with lupis and I wanted to know how it is contracted?

lupus isnt a contractible disease, its a genetic disorder that any one can have, u are born with it. it gets worse with age, but can be somewhat controlled with meds. it usually doesnt run in families like a trait. its just a disorder from the formation of your DNA. my mom has it, and shes ok, theres really not a lot to worry about unless he is really bad off. but he should be ok.
