Hi! I suspect that my son have Lyme disease. Recently, he and his father were on fishing. After few days I notice some changes on his skin. How is Lyme disease diagnosed?
Hi! If you notice a skin rush, or even you suspect on Lyme disease take you son to doctor immediately. Lyme disease is diagnosed by a physical examination and medical history. The clinical diagnosis is supported by laboratory testing. Diagnosis of Lyme disease can be difficult. Current tests are not completely accurate. The symptoms can mimic those of other diseases. Diagnosis is easiest when there is a skin rash.
