| Hello, I am 58 years old and I have always had problems with my defecation. Lately, after the stomach virus, I have noticed that the stool changes it density each time. I did not notice any blood in the stool, but I am afraid that this might be a sign of a cancer. How is colon rectal cancer manifested? |

| There are several different diagnostic procedures for determining if there is a colon rectal cancer. One of those is blood occult feces test. It uses a microscope to determine if there is a blood in the stool. As for the symptoms, blood may or may not be present, but there is a strong secondary anemia, which can be shown by a blood test. |
