How is psoriatic arthritis diagnosed?

I think I have psoriatic arthritis. I have the first symptoms of it. I feel pain in my joints and I have red skin on certain areas of my body. I heard that it’s not so easy to diagnose this illness. Can somebody with experience tell me How is psoriatic arthritis diagnosed?

Unfortunately, no single test can confirm a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis. Your doctor will assess your signs and symptoms and work to rule out other causes of joint pain. Tests that help to distinguish psoriatic arthritis from other conditions are: joint fluid test, X-rays of joints, sedimentation rate and rheumatoid factor (RF).
