I would like to know a bit more about heart stent. My father just had this procedure and even though he is ok now (76 years old) I am still worried for him. I don’t know for how long will the heart stent last. Perhaps another surgery will be required and he is old, I don’t know if he will be able to endure it.
I suppose you will have to wait and see. This all depends a lot on the patient itself. I mean, my husband had this procedure done couple of months ago, and it looks like he will have to do it again. The stent is actually ok and works fine, but the blockage occurred again. So, I guess there is no sure figure anyone can tell you.
