Hi, good people. My cousin has been diagnosed with amblyopia. I think that she is a candidate for the surgery. I would like to know how long the post op recovery is after this kind of intervention. Can anyone fill me in with details? I would appreciate all your replies. Thanks.

Hello. I think that your cousin won’t stay in hospital for a long time. But with surgery, her treatment does not end. She will have to go to vision therapy. It is a form of visual rehabilitation. She will have special exercises. Before any procedure, she should discuss all the details with her eye surgeon. He will give her the exact figures. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
