How long it takes for Copaxone to start working?

I have multiple sclerosis for more then two years. First I was on Avonex but I had really heavy side effects and I decided to stop with it. My doctor thinks that I should try with Copaxone. I heard that it’s usually effective but I have also read that it takes a year before it starts to work. What is your experience with this medication?

Well, it’s depended of many things but generally Copaxone takes some more time to build up to full effectiveness then other medications for MS. When I started with Copaxone my doctor told me that I should be patient. After about eight months I think that I started to notice full effectiveness of this medication.
