How long will it take for bloating to go away after stopping birth control?

I took birth control (yasmim) for three months and my stomach and legs became extremely bloated, to a point that made me even suspect pregnancy, even though I menstruated ( it was not a light spotting). I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. I decided to stop birth control since I had such a bad reaction to it. It has been a week now since I took my last pill and I still feel bloated. How long will it take for these hormones to leave my body and for the bloating to get better?
