i find both crunches AND situps to be very effective. usually i do about 50 crunches forward. 25 to the left. and 25 to the right. when i do situps usually i just do them for the length of one song that im listening to you. (its good that way because you dont pay attention to the time and you listen to the song).i also do side planks. which helps tone your oblique and butt well, i hope this helped! goodluck!
