| Hello, my daughter is 6 years old and just before she has to start with school, on medical check up, some abnormalities on blood test showed. Doctor thinks it is leukemia, but he said that some tests has to be done, in order to determine what type of leukemia she has. How many different kinds of leukemia are there? |

| Leukemia is a malign disease that occurs because of the disorders in growth and development of blood cells, especially white blood cells. There are myeloid and lymphocytic leukemia, acute and chronic. Also, we could divide them further depending on the cell characteristics. I guess you have to wait and be patient, until doctors see what is exactly wrong with your daughter, they cannot help her. |
