How many ultrasounds should we have in pregnancy?

My wife is pregnant. We have discovered that five months ago. We were overwhelmed. She has gone to an ultrasound when we have found out it. Then she had another when we wanted to see its gender. Now she wants to see the baby once more. Is it smart? How many ultrasounds should she have in pregnancy?

People usually think that ultrasound is safe and that you can do it as many times as you want. But some experts tend to disagree. Some research shows that ultrasound has something to do with autism. They think that improper use of transducer could affect fetus by superheating it and his brain. So be very careful and don’t do it if you don't have to.
