How much ibuprofen can be taken safely?

Please, I need certain information about medicament called Ibuprofen. I have strong headaches for days and I started to use ibuprofen pills of 800mg 3 times per day. It helps me but I started to worry a lot because I didn't sure how much ibuprofen can be taken safely. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Hi! You don't need to worry! A maximum daily dose of ibuprofen is 3200 mg, but a lot of ibuprofen may give you stomach problems. The most common dose for adults is 200 –400 mg every 4–6 hours. Ibuprofen has a dose-dependent duration of action of approximately 4–8 hours. I read this in my book about drugs. I hope that I helped you.
